Flower Girl Dresses - Color Takes Center Stage

White and ivory flower girl dresses have been the most popular for many years - and justifiably so! What are we seeing? Bold - splashy - gorgeous - vibrant color!

A big one is "tangerine", which is somewhere between sun-kissed orange and burnt orange. This can really "pop" especially when others in the wedding party are in colors like chocolate, cocoa, taupe or shades or green. Just be sure that a similar shade of tangerine is in the flowers - and voila! Perfect coordination.

Deep red such as claret is really hot, too.

Lavender and pink have always been favorites and continue. They can coordinate with purples and other shades of pink so beautifully! But don't just think "inside the box"- they are GREAT accents for green themes, and lavender is great to accent yellow, too!

We're seeing far fewer black flower girl dresses, which was a big trend for black-and-white weddings for several years. Truth is - black can totally over power a little one and many do not consider it an appropriate color for children at all. Still, it's entirely up to the bride's vision of her perfect wedding and black flower girl dresses - or white/ivory dresses with black accents - will always continue to be available, we're sure.
